WAS/WAZ1/2 CMA: AC and AC/DC current monitoring components with analogue output and external power supply.
The WAS/WAZ1 CMA measures single-phase 50/60 Hz AC currents of up to 10 A using the transformer-based Root Mean Square (RMS) method. The input can be selected in the ranges 1/5/10A using DIP switches.
The WAS/WAZ2 CMA AC/DC current monitoring components can be used to measure single-phase AC or DC currents of up to 60 A, depending on the particular version. DIP switches are used to select 2 or 3 ranges for the input sensitivity. The True RMS hall sensor technique is used to measure the current. The wire is not connected but is instead routed directly through the device. This measurement method is not sensitive to continuous surge currents, current peaks or high start-up currents. AC currents at frequencies up to 1 kHz can be measured with an accuracy of 1% (end value).
The WAS/WAZ1/2 CMA monitoring components provide standardised switchable DC current/voltage signals on the output side. The input and output circuits are securely isolated with 4 kV. The 24 VDC supply voltage is fed through the output (WAS/WAZ1 CMA) or the input (WAS/WAZ2 CMA).
The devices come in a 22.5 mm wide WAVEBOX housing. They feature either screw of tension-clamp wire connections. The supply voltage can be bridged using pluggable ZQV 2,5N jumpers on the module side.
