Monitoring physical variables such as fill level, temperature, rotational speed, weight,
frequency, current and voltage allows continual control and monitoring of process sequences, devices or parts of an installation
For this purpose, special limit-monitoring components are used. The sensor signal is detected on the input side, electronically evaluated, converted, and the relevant limit values (min/max) are provided for use in external devices via digital switching outputs (relays/transistors).
The switching points for the min/max limit-value, switching hysteresis, delay time and the individual switching behaviour (high trip/low trip) can be individually set.
Any deviations or signal interruptions can be evaluated as operational faults.
Targeted steps to rectify the problem can then be initiated.
